Based on an medical book from de 70's, this painting explores the phenomena of asthenia, no longer used to describe physical complexion but to describe the feeling of exhaustion. Being coated with a warm and vibrant palette, "Asténico do novo século" (new century asthenic) reinterprets de modern paradox between inner exhaustion and appearances, in a time were image and simulation overtake reality.
