The Maman

These works are about strength, loneliness, and defiance. My beast is neither good nor evil; it is different. Like all living creatures, it wants peace and love. I painted these canvas just before the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. They are full of a subconscious premonition of inevitable changes, a feeling that something hard and tragic is coming.
