Untitled
Painting by Kateryna Kopeikina
80 x 100 cm • Acrylic
Location:
Kyiv, Ukraine
In a room where time seems frozen in the rusty patterns on the walls, she sits, a ghost woman woven from the lines of memories. Her face flickers like a shadow from a long-forgotten dream. Her wheelchair is not just an object, but a symbol: the wheel spins, but does it lead her forward? Or does it only bring her back to the same places, the same faces? In the corner of the painting lurks another image, a snake, a mocking face without time, without age. It could be her reflection, or the ghost of another's gaze that once evaluated her body, her freedom, her possibilities.
