A self-taught painter, from a family where painting and music have always been part of his daily life, Vincent Léger has practiced this art since a young age. Although he learned the basics of pastel, watercolor and oil by copying the paintings of masters such as Raphael, Caravaggio, Caillebotte and Hopper, Vincent always needed to create and shape his own vision of world through painting. Light, its vibrations, its way of revealing the forms on which it is deposited, is its common thread. For him, everything is energy and vibrations. His work in fine lines allows him to rediscover this vibration that he perceives around him. Fascinated by portraits, the look, the play of light and shadow, he seeks to transmit an emotion where the act of painting is for him an act of knowledge of the world around us, visible and invisible.
