Between Reality and Dream - Limited Edition
Prints by Egor Guschin
28 x 21 cm • Art paper
Location:
Paris, France
This photograph, created for the "Between Reality and Dream" project, depicts a mysterious scene that combines fantasy with reality. In the foreground, the silhouette of a girl riding a horse appears as the horseman of the apocalypse. Her eyes glow with a supernatural light, giving her a ghostly and menacing nature. The girl seems to appear from another world, surrounded by a blue glow, similar to a bright moon or a portal to another reality. Her figure is filled with movement, as in a dream flowing into reality. In front of her, against the background of the same light, a male silhouette is visible, less clear but important, as if he is watching a ghost or facing an invisible threat. The contrast between the earthly and otherworldly emphasizes the theme of the project — the study of the boundaries between dreams and reality, where the boundary between the world of reality and fantasy is blurred. Lighting effects, dreamy shadows and deep blue create a sense of surreal atmosphere, full of anxiety and mysticism. This photograph conveys the depth of immersion in the space between reality and dream, where everything is possible and nothing is what it seems.
