Taking inspiration from the Spanish early impressionist artist Joaquín Sorolla, Yehor plays with contrast, exposing light and shadows. The painting "White Lilies" is executed in rich, contrasting tones against a dark background. The bright white lilies capture attention with their purity and elegance, their petals glowing against the deep hues. The dark background, deep and rich, accentuates the brightness of the flowers, creating a sense of depth and drama. It frames the lilies, making them the focal point and highlighting every detail—from the delicate veins on the petals to the tiny, life-filled stamens. The petals of the lilies, curving gracefully, resemble delicate flames that stand out against the dark background. This contrast symbolizes the purity and strength of nature, captured by the artist on a bright sunny day. The painting evokes a sense of harmony and admiration, conveying not only beauty but also the energy emanating from these magnificent flowers, illuminated by the sun and surrounded by the rich backdrop of nature.
