
Vyacheslav Kazanevsky
Vyacheslav Volodymyrovych Kazanevsky is a Ukrainian monumental artist, painter, caricaturist, cartoonist, mosaicist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, host of the author's programs "Pikata Anatomy" and "Artists and War" on the I-UA.TV channel. As a child, he took courses in etching, linocut and printing at the Academy of Arts (Leuven, Belgium). He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture with honors, majoring in "Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts" and received the qualification of an artist-painter-monumentalist. His diploma work (mosaic 3.5 m2) entitled "Flora and Fauna of the Hutsul Region." is mounted in the space of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He lives and works in Kyiv. Winner of awards at prestigious international satirical graphic competitions in the following countries: Croatia, USA, Portugal, Greece, China, Egypt, South Korea, Colombia, Turkey, Norway, Cyprus, Slovakia, Brazil and others. Many paintings and graphics by Vyacheslav Kazanevsky are kept in museums and private collections around the world: Taras Shevchenko National Museum (Kyiv, Ukraine), I.I. Brodsky Art Museum (Berdyansk, Ukraine), Mykola Yaroshenko Art Museum (Art Gallery) (Poltava, Ukraine), House of Arts (Wandelgangen, Belgium), Academy of Arts (Leuven, Belgium) and others.
