The Sovereign Art Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in Hong Kong in 2003. Our mission is to celebrate and support contemporary artists while delivering expressive arts programmes that benefit disadvantaged children. Since launch, SAF has raised nearly USD 16 million and has supported thousands of children worldwide, while providing hundreds of artists with international exposure. We run professional and student art prizes across Asia, Africa and Portugal, and reinvest proceeds to support local communities and arts education. Expressive Arts Programmes in Portugal SAF began working in Portugal in 2021. Until this year, our art therapy programme operated solely in Estremoz. In 2025, we expanded.
