White Flower of Hibiscus syriacus

This hibiscus delights me with its beauty every summer. A huge bush grows in the yard. The light, almost transparent petals shimmer in the sunlight. The flower seems to flaunt its bright pink centre, and bees swarm around it cheerfully and lively. This sunny summer plant gives a sense of celebration and tenderness at the same time. The work is on 100% cotton 300g/cm watercolour paper, using the watercolour paints with the highest index of lightfastness.
